TRAINING STRINGS

Launching this summer term, Training Strings is a brand-new ensemble designed especially for young musicians taking their first steps into orchestral playing.

This one-term-only introductory orchestra is the perfect way for beginner string players to develop essential ensemble skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of playing in a group. It’s an excellent stepping stone for those looking to join our Beginner Strings Orchestra in September.

Who can join?

Young musicians playing violin, viola, cello, or double bass who are still on open strings or just starting to explore fingered notes.

When & Where?

📅 First Rehearsal: Friday 2nd May

⏰ Time: 17:00 – 18:00

📍 Location: Stockport Music Service, George Lane
