We provide an opportunity for young orchestral string players to develop their instrumental skills and musicianship in a fun and supportive atmosphere. In addition to playing standard orchestral repertoire the group covers a great deal of more contemporary music, including using electric instruments, effects and amplification and films scores.

The group performs regularly at the music centre, the RNCM and other venues, both individually and with other music service groups to form larger ensembles. Players for this ensemble should be at Grade 3 or equivalent upwards.

We meet every Friday from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.
