Wind Bands bring together brass, woodwind and percussion instruments to form an ensemble that can play pretty much any style of music.  Sometimes referred to as concert bands, military bands or wind orchestras, there is a huge library of music for these groups and they provide our young musicians with opportunities to perform with other players and expand their abilities. 

As the name suggests Beginner Wind Band is for wind, brass and percussion players who have only just started up to grade one standard.

We have lots of fun in rehearsals and perform in Music Centre concerts throughout the year. We play lots of different styles of music from classical to jazz and even some pop and film music.

Beginner Band is a great way to improve your musical skills and also meet new friends.

Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays during term time from 5.00 - 6.00 pm.
