We provide all young orchestral string players an opportunity to develop their instrumental and ensemble playing skills in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. As well as playing specially arranged versions of orchestral repertoire and popular pieces, we also tackle a variety of pieces that help to improve players' listening and improvising skills, emphasising the fun side of music making while making progress.

Our young players make great friends and enjoy their social time as well as playing, so don't be nervous, don't be shy, put your bows on the strings and give us a try.

We meet from 5.00 - 6.30pm on a Friday during term time and regularly perform with other music service groups.
