lessons in school

Stockport Music Service teaches in many of our local schools and lessons take place during the school day.  Pupils come out of their class for their singing or instrumental tuition each week and the teachers work closely with the schools to make sure that pupils are able to learn and make progress while contributing to the musical life of the school.

Each school has individual needs, so we provide a totally bespoke package of tuition to every school we work with.  All our schools are keen to offer their pupils the highest quality of music education and there is a variety of instruments to choose from.

Prices:

2023/2024

Individual 20 minute lesson: £19.00

Shared 20 minute lesson: £9.50

Once you find out what is available in your school you will be able to arrange an instrument hire or purchase (Assisted Instrument Purchase Scheme) if you don't already have an instrument to learn on.

Whichever school your child attends, they are still eligible to attend any of the appropriate music centre groups (subscription fee applies).  Click here to view our music centre groups.
